Week Eighteen: The Snowy Day

The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats


Ironically, we were snowed out the beginning of the week, so we only had Friday to do The Snowy Day.  However, we did manage to make this cute craft:




It was their idea to add the line of snow at the bottom as well as the stick in Peter's hand, just like in the story.  Some of them even added snow on Peter's head.

I wanted to bring them outside so we could explore and do some of the things Peter does in the story, but we just didn't have time.

I also printed off some cutting practice and tracing practice from the home school creations Snowy Day printables.
